Spiritual Leadership and Queen’s Honor
P.P. Shreemad Lakshminarayana Teerth Shreepad Vader Swamiji, the 9th Acharya, was a shishya of P.P. Shreemad Raghuchandra Teerth. They notably improved Math administration and increased earnings through various grants. While traveling through Nagara (Venupura), Queen Chennammaji was deeply impressed by their presence and honored them with a White decorated Umbrella (Shweta Chatra), Royal Fans (Chaamaras), lights (Deepikas), a Conch, and a Palanquin. They blessed the Queen during their five-day stay before continuing their journey to Basroor, Bhatkal, and Gokarna.
Pilgrimage and Mahanirvana
A major contribution of their tenure was the expansion of the Mula Matha at Varanasi. During a subsequent pilgrimage to Varanasi and Nasik, they bathed in the holy Ganga and visited Bindumadhava. While staying on the banks of the Godavari in Nasik, they attained Haripada on Phalguna Krishna Saptami, Srisaka 1624.
