In the late 1970s, the GSB community in the industrial town of Bhadravati formed a group to strengthen their social bonds but lacked a permanent place to meet. In 2001, during a visit to nearby Shimoga, P.P. Shreemad Vidyadhiraja Teerth Shreepad Vader Swamiji agreed to visit Bhadravati, leading to the idea of building a Sabhagraha. The foundation stone was laid on March 7, 2002, and the building was completed in just 15 months, providing the community with a much-needed venue for cultural and social activities.
