Porvorim is a newly established suburb on the northern bank of the Mandovi river. Recognizing the difficulty of building a Math within Panaji city, P.P. Shreemad Vidyadhiraja Teerth Shreepad Vader Swamiji decided to build a new Math in Porvorim to provide a social and cultural center for the community residing from Panaji to Bicholim. The foundation stone was laid on December 3, 1998, and the magnificent building was inaugurated on November 18, 2000. Located on the Panaji-Mumbai highway, this structure adds to the prestige of the Math.
